These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BubbleAudit Chrome extension, the bubbleaudit.com website, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by BubbleAudit (“BubbleAudit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By installing the extension, visiting bubbleaudit.com, or purchasing an audit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
BubbleAudit is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bubble Group, Inc.
1. What BubbleAudit does
BubbleAudit is a Chrome extension and accompanying web service that:
- Captures the in-memory structure of your Bubble.io application from within your browser
- Redacts known secret patterns locally before any data leaves your browser
- Provides a free preview of audit findings on every analyzed application
- Optionally transmits the sanitized structure to our servers, where AI models (provided by our AI analysis provider) analyze it
- Returns a paid report identifying potential security gaps, performance issues, database hygiene concerns, workflow anti-patterns, and Workload Unit cost drains
The Service is provided “as is” and is intended as an advisory tool. Findings are heuristic and may include false positives or miss real issues. The Service is not a substitute for professional security review, formal code audit, or qualified legal advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You may only use BubbleAudit on Bubble applications that you own or for which you have explicit written authorization from the owner. Using BubbleAudit on applications you do not own or have authorization to audit may violate Bubble’s terms of service and may constitute unauthorized access under applicable law. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights.
3. Accounts and authentication
Accounts are created via email magic-link authentication. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of the email account you use to authenticate
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us promptly at support@bubbleaudit.com if you suspect unauthorized access
We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
4. Pricing and payment
4.1 Pricing
- A single audit report costs USD $49 (or local-currency equivalent).
- Prices are exclusive of applicable sales taxes (VAT, GST, US state sales tax), which are calculated and added at checkout by our payment processor.
4.2 Free preview before purchase
Every audit includes a free preview showing a representative sample of findings before payment. You are expected to evaluate the free preview before deciding to purchase the full report.
4.3 Payment processor
Payments are processed by our payment processor, acting as merchant of record. By purchasing an audit, you also agree to the payment processor’s terms presented at checkout.
4.4 Currency and conversion
Charges are denominated in USD. Your bank or card issuer may apply foreign exchange or international transaction fees, which are your responsibility.
5. Refunds
Because every audit includes a free preview of findings before payment, all purchases of the full report are considered final.
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund in the following limited circumstances:
- The audit failed to complete due to a verified technical fault on our infrastructure
- The full report was not delivered to your email within 24 hours of successful payment
- Duplicate charges caused by a payment processor error
- Other exceptional circumstances we deem reasonable
To request consideration under these circumstances, email support@bubbleaudit.com within 30 days of purchase with your transaction ID and a description of the issue. We will respond within 7 business days.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund in cases of suspected fraud, repeated abuse, or where the free preview gave the buyer reasonable opportunity to evaluate the Service before purchase.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to audit applications you do not own or have authorization to audit
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying source code of the extension beyond what is permitted under the project’s open source license (if any)
- Use the Service to develop a competing product
- Submit malicious payloads or attempt to exploit the Service’s infrastructure
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer audit reports to third parties without our written permission
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect data from the Service through automated means
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law
7. Your content and our rights
7.1 Your data
You retain all rights to the Bubble application data you submit to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your audit content.
7.2 License to operate the Service
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your sanitized audit data solely to:
- Generate the audit report you requested
- Improve our analysis prompts and heuristics using aggregated, de-identified findings
- Comply with legal obligations
7.3 Aggregated insights
We may use aggregated, de-identified information about audit findings (e.g., “23% of audited apps have a missing privacy rule on the User table”) for marketing, product improvement, and public reporting. Aggregated information will never identify you, your application, or specific findings tied to your account.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including the extension code, website design, brand identity (logo, name, color palette), and underlying analysis prompts, is owned by BubbleAudit and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or license to our trademarks or copyrighted materials except as expressly permitted by an applicable open source license.
“Bubble” is a trademark of Bubble Group, Inc. We use the name only descriptively to identify the platform our Service supports.
9. AI-generated content disclaimer
Audit reports are generated using AI models provided by our AI analysis provider. AI-generated findings may:
- Contain inaccuracies, false positives, or false negatives
- Misinterpret application structure
- Recommend approaches that don’t fit your specific use case
You are solely responsible for evaluating findings before acting on them. We make no warranty that audit reports are exhaustive, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose, including legal or regulatory compliance.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (but not limited to) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.
You use the Service at your own risk. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on audit findings, including but not limited to changes to your Bubble application, third-party integrations, security configurations, or business operations.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- In no event will BubbleAudit be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service.
- BubbleAudit’s total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability; in such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BubbleAudit from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
- Your use of BubbleAudit on applications you do not own or have authorization to audit
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by emailing support@bubbleaudit.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if:
- You materially breach these Terms
- We are required to do so by law
- Your account is involved in fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- We discontinue the Service (in which case we will provide at least 30 days’ notice)
14. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify the Service at any time, including adding, removing, or changing features. We may also update these Terms. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated by email to registered users and posted on bubbleaudit.com at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the courts of India.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that gives you mandatory rights to your local courts or local consumer protection law, this clause does not limit those rights.
16. General provisions
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BubbleAudit regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect.
- No waiver. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government action, internet outages, or third-party service failures.
